Prometheus Art Gallery is pleased to present ART CUBE 2025: Young Artist Exhibition, a group exhibition centered on the theme of Free Expression. The exhibition brings together works by young artists currently in their university years that are actively developing independent artistic languages. The exhibition will be on view from December 20, 2025 to February 9, 2026 at Prometheus Art Gallery in Oakville.

ART CUBE is a long-term platform initiated and sustained by Prometheus Art Gallery, focusing on artists at critical stages of artistic development. Rather than functioning solely as a student showcase, the project positions its participants as young artists entering contemporary art discourse, emphasizing artistic independence and long-term potential.

ART CUBE 2025 features works across painting, mixed media, drawing, and digital art. Through diverse formal strategies and thematic explorations, the participating artists engage with questions of identity, perception, individual experience, and the tension between structure and intuition. The exhibition foregrounds process-based thinking, situating youthful artistic expression within broader academic and cultural contexts.

Within the ART CUBE framework, the gallery prioritizes artistic experimentation, conceptual clarity, and creative risk-taking. The platform aims to provide a professional exhibition context for emerging artistic practices, fostering meaningful connections between young artists, public audiences, and academic discourse.

ART CUBE 2025 is presented by Prometheus Art Gallery, co-organized by the Sheridan College Chinese Students and Scholars Association, with special thanks to the support of OCAD University.

All exhibition proceeds will be donated to the SickKids Foundation and Autism Dog Services, extending artistic practice beyond exhibition space into social responsibility and community engagement.

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), affiliated with the University of Toronto, is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children's health in the country.

With passionate and dedicated staff, SickKids is much more than a hospital. We work each day to provide the best in child and family-centred care, pioneer ground-breaking clinical and scientific advancements, and train the next generation of experts in child health.

Together, we are advancing Precision Child Health, a movement to individualize care for every child based on what makes them unique - from their genetic code to their postal code.
